Small Groups carry an essential role in carrying out our mission of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
You can find out more information about Small Groups by filling out the form on this page, mark your Connection Card on a Sunday morning, contact the church office, or creating an account. By creating an account you will be able to see what groups are active and find a group that works for you.
Below are some frequently asked questions about Small Groups.
What is a Small Group?Small Groups are small groups of people who meet together weekly to grow spiritually, build new relationships, study the Bible, care for each other, and have fun.
What happens at a Small Group?All Small Groups are little different and have their own personality. However, in each Small Group you should expect to find a place where people are sharing their lives together, bible discussion, and prayer.
How do I join a Small Group?You can a join a Small Group by signing up in the front lobby, marking the connection card in the bulletin, contacting the church office, or contacting the Small Group leader directly.
Where do Small Groups meet?Small Groups meet in peoples’ homes throughout the week and at various times.
Is it okay if I bring my kids to a Small Group?This depends on the group. Each group is responsible for its own childcare. Because we are all in different seasons of life a group may not offer childcare. Please check with the specific group for details on childcare.
Do I have to be a member or Christian to attend a Small Group?Nope. Members, attenders, and guests, are all welcome to participate in Small Groups. Everybody is invited!
Why are Small Groups important to the Christian Church?Small Groups foster the environment where you can grow. There you will experience a safe place where you can ask questions and be heard. In a Small Group you can expect love, care, and support, as life is shared together.
I don’t know the Bible very well; can I still attend a Small Group?Absolutely! We have an amazing team of Small Group facilitators that will welcome you with open arms. The key word is grow. We desire to encourage everyone to pursue spiritual growth wherever they happen to be on their spiritual journey.
What if I don’t like my Small Group?Beginning to attend a Small Group can be hard, and what happens if you simply don’t “click” with the people. Are you trapped… FOREVER?! Nope. We wanted to make it as easy as possible to try a group. So go ahead and try. And if you happen to not “click” with the group or your schedule get hectic, it’s okay—we understand!
Can I lead or host a Small Group?Can’t seem to find the right group? None of the groups work with your schedule? Start another! Facilitating or hosting a Small Group is a valuable and amazing experience. Some plant the seeds, others water them, but God makes them grow (1 Corinthians 3:6). Group leaders have the privilege of creating environments in which seeds of faith are planted and watered in the lives of those they lead, while trusting God with the growth.
